About the site

Ah, lovely is a hand-picked list of people in Ireland who make or design gifts the people you give them to will love. We're not a shop: every listing sends you to the maker's own site, so you buy straight from them.

Where to look next

• How we check. How a maker earns a place, and what "Made in Ireland" means here.
• What we change. What we tidy on a listing, and what we leave exactly as the maker wrote it.
• How we make money. Is it free? For now, yes.

Who's behind it

It's Barry, in Kildare, building it in his own time. Why I'm building it tells the story.
